Changes & Reminders for 2026

  • All adults at Pathways to Eagle MUST BE REGISTERED - No Exceptions
  • Please bring a refillable water bottle or cup to the weekend.
  • There will be water available near merit badge classes and near the kitchen for Scouters to refill their water bottles.
  • This event does take place outside in the back of Bolingbrook Village hall.  Please be prepared for weather.
  • Troops camping for the weekend will be required to bring all required gear for camping.  Food and plate ware / utensils will be provided
  • Scouts should be prepared with at least 6 merit badges they would like to take during the weekend to ensure they have a full schedule.
  • 2 Deep leadership is required during the event.  That needs to be provided by each unit.  If a Scout is attending with a parent, that also fulfills that requirement.  This 2 deep leadership is required to be on site with Scout(s) during the duration of their time on property as well as offsite activities.
  • Scout America policy prohibits smoking in the presence of Scouts.  A designated smoking area has been setup for smoking.  In addition Village rules do NOT allow smoking within 15 feet of any building entrance.
  • As with all Scouting events, Scouts are not allowed to leave the event grounds.
  • Registration will be taking place on this website PathwaysToEagle.com for 2026.  Payments will be made via PayPal.  See registration page for more details once available.  Please be sure to fill out both forms on the registration page to complete registration.
  • Ice Skating will be available at Rocket Ice Arena on Friday night only for weekend registrations.
  • Friday night merit badges & skating are only available for weekend registrations.  Scouts will not be able to participate in open skate and also complete one of the Friday night badges.  Please inform your Scouts and have them make that decision before signing up for one of the Friday night badges.
  • Pre-Requisite requirements are noted on the individual merit badges.  They can be accessed by clicking on the page image on class schedule.  These are required to be completed in order to earn each badge.  If not complete, Scouts will come home with a partial.
  • This year's event will have a foam party on Saturday evening for weekend registrations.  If you choose to choose to participate, please be prepared with appropriate / extra clothing.
